I don't know what you have joined peewee, but the wording closely resembles Multi Level Marketing (MLM) and Viral Marketing (VM) scams. If this were posted on my forum It would be removed unless you could prove to my satisfaction that it was not MLM, VM or any other type of scam.

It's not MLM. They have good tips, but it's too expensive for someone just starting out like me. Plus, I think that marketing has to be geared to your own space. I.E. what works in one place won't always work in others.

I'll admit it. I'm a bit skeptical. It seems the only time we see a post by PeeWee is when there is a newbie. Maybe she is that busy working.

I have taken a look at the website and I have seen virtually the same wording targetting other professions. What happens is that certain areas can be adjusted automatically to fit what you are marketing. This is the first time I have seen it outside of the get rich quick web marketing.

Biggest clue that it is a scam is the six figure income comment! How many clowns are on a six figure income? Even many famous clowns can't claim that!

If you take a closer look at the wording it is hard selling. The general idea is to get rich by selling the book. If I remember correctly you could also pay to market the book yourself. Some schemes included marketing rights when you bought the book.

Ouch guys...
I have poured my heart and soul into creating the Clown Marketing Blueprint over the last 6 months because when I needed something like this there was nothing available. I want to help other clowns avoid wasting money by running ads without thinking things thru.
And I did interview quite a few six figure clowns and magicians to create some of the content for the blueprint. Guys like Toby Kid, Matthew Engle (Mackinaw Magic) and Barry Mitchell. These are six figure income guys!
I remember when I first got started I figured I would take out a nice ad in a local publication, laid out $400 to run the ad, do the graphics etc and plop....not one phone call.
I vowed that would not happen again and set about learning all that I can about marketing my business. well, it worked because I went from 4-5 gigs per month to 20-25 gigs per month in about 6 months. And it has gotten even better since then.
No, I am not an MLM or some type of scam or get rich quick scheme. I am just a clown www.PeeweeTheClown.com who wants to help other clowns and I recognize the value of the item I am offering.
Would you be willing to spend $297 on something that will put more than $10,000 in your pocket, save you from wasting money with things that don't work and if it doesn't you can get your money back? No advertisement in any publication will give you a guarantee like that.
I'm just glad to see the clowns who have purchased it already are really very excited about it and recognize the value of the product.
You'll be hearing about these clowns because they will be the ones booking all the gigs.
Hope you have a successful day bumping noses!

I checked out your website--Very cool bike!
I do not doubt your very credible list of refernces or your course. If I weren't currently unemployed, I would give it some serious consideration. If I had some extra money, I think I would catch up the electric bill :) They tend to get a little testy.

I have taken a deeper look into what PeeWee offers and I have come to the conclusion that I was a bit too harsh on her. I still feel that her six figure income claims are an exaggeration and after reading her '5 Bozo Mistake's e-mail articles, I have not really seen anything new regarding the techniques used. The only difference was that the articles are clearly targeted towards clowning.

However I apologise to you PeeWee because after investigating I can see that you are not into any kind of MLM or get rich quick scheme as I wrongly accused you of. However I do find the price of your book to be a little steep when I can easily get hold of similar books online for a fraction of the cost (generally about one third of your price). However I must also state they are generalised marketing techniques and not focused specifically on clowning as yours appears to be.
