hey folks i am working on a few new skits and was wonderin what your idea was on how long a clown skit should be. when i was doin them in the rodeos they where no more than five minutes but i would like your imput to go off of.also when i get it done i would like to see what you think of it

Most competions limit them to three to five minutes, I guess thats a pretty good rule of thumb.

That's what I've alway heard too. 3-5 mins.

Yes, I agree. I think any longer than 5 minutes and you could lose your audience, especially kids!

I think that 5 minutes (at least 10) is long enough to do the skit... and do the people laugh...
