hi! my friend and i are gonna do a skit in an amature competition at the clown convetion in vegas. W :D e are two beginners, so we need something easy, but funny, and short, for two people. Any ideas?

How long is your performance expected to last? you may need more than one skit for some competitions. Why not take a look at this post (http://clown-forum.com/ftopict-220.html) where there are some free skit resources. If you write your own custom skit you may get some ideas from these folklore tales (http://www.pitt.edu/~dash/folktexts.html).

Check out the book Clown Act Omnibus by Wes McVicar. There are many good skits in there for clowns and are graded by number of people and difficulty.
