View Full Version : My First Party... SunshineTheClown 09-24-2007, 08:29 AM I had my first birthday party this Saturday. I was nervous, but it went great! Was amazing to get paid for having fun! Got paid $140.00 for an hour and a half! For me that would be followed up with "I only tripped twice and then I picked up my suitcase before I zipped it but only half of my stuff fell out..." You get the idea. Now that you have time to sit and think about it and how it went, please tell us more. What went really well? What didn't get the reaction you had hoped for? The juicy stuff. At the first party I did, I was so nervous and didn't know what to do. I didn't ask for any money but they paid me $45! Fitzwilly is SO RIGHT ... all the money I make in clowning goes for some other prop, accessory or whatever else I want/need to support my clowning habit. Who cares, though ... I love it and the truth be known, I would probably do it all for free. The money is the frosting on the cake. Life is good when you actually get paid for doing something you love and it's not illegal!! Keep up the good work, Sunshine. Join us here on Thursdays for clown chat.
