Hello Everybody,

The Roundup kicked off to a great start. We had alley skits last night. One of these days when enough clown-forum people all show up we will have to do a short skit. It is just a fun way for the different alleys to strut their stuff and have members participate that might not otherwise. Today classes and makeup competitions. And tonight I break out the Cotton Candy machine. I don't even care how well it is received, I a looking forward to a batch of fresh cotton candy.

Time to run and show my face. I've been updating the antivirus "stuff" on my computer. Since I have a speedy connection I thought this would be a great opportunity, especially since my trusty laptop acts "ill" these days. I know lets take all the spammers, adware people and virus makers and lock them in a series of rooms with all the Wal-mart clowns out there and let them entertain each other.

Glad you liked it Hop. It was good to see you and your cohorts at the convention. Now we just need to convince them to join the Forum. And then convince more of the Forum members to come to the convention next year. All in all did you have a good time? and did you feel like you learned enough that it was a good return on your dollar? What would you like to see included in next year's convention? (These questions, at least the ones about the future can and should be answered by everybody.) Post what you would like to here and please email me any and all feeling you have about the convention good or otherwise. The goal is to make each year flow better and meet the needs of more participants to a greater degree.

Are you calling ME a cohort, Fitzwilly? Uh uh ... I had to convince HOPSCOTCH to stay Saturday night ... good thing she did ... she got a first in creative face painting. You make good cotton candy, I have to say, but it kept getting in my hair. I think I ate some hair too.

For the most part, I think it was a very nice convention. As usual, I spent more money than I wanted to, so now, we have to eat beans ... but the good thing is, WE LOVE BEANS!!

When and Where is next year's Midwest Clown RoundUP??? I wanted to make it up this year but was tied up at the Ukulele festival in Nashville, IN.

NettieBelle, I recommed "Jelly" beans on your toast for breakfast.

Next year's Midwest Roundup is in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

Great idea Sam ... I think I might have some left over from Easter. I will surprise my husband tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.:D

Next year's Midwest Roundup is in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.

Is it actually going to be IN Oconomowoc or elsewhere nearby, though in that general area?

I think it will be held at the Olympia Spa. The same place it was held about four years ago. I'll post the address.
