I'm JiL The Clown. I became a clown at Clownfest at Seaside Heights NJ this year.
I love to be a clown! I seriously believe thats the reason why God send me to this earth. I am a Christian clown and proud of it. My name even says it. JIL (Jesus is Lord).
The character of JiL is a happy female hobo. She is an inmigrant that has been here in this wonderful America of ours for a few years. She has seen the horror and greatness, dispair and salvation. She is alone in this country but in reality she has her best friends with her (Father, Son, and Holy Ghost; and fellow clowns)
It has been dificult to find and appropiate face and costume, since I wanted to use jeans with patches on them, and couldn't find a seamstress. (Where are the yellow pages when you need them?! Oh! They're holding the table...Never mind!)
I have finished to do the research for a Clown Ministry Proposal in my church, and believe it or not there is a complete theology for clowning. Amazing!
My other project is to do a business plan for my clowning. One of my aspirations besides the first of being a clown minister, is to be a full time working clown.
Almost all of the research has been done, the only point where I have dificulties is to find a description of the industry. (Clown industry? Entertainment industry? Clown business entertainment? Where can I find that info? Is that the correct info? Help!)
I'm going with the business plan because I am serious about clowning.
What do you thhink guys? Am I right? Am I wrong? Am I worst? I'll keep at it, I know there is hope for me!
