Hi all I have some questions 1. I have a go tee and I really don't want to shave it off and I never seen a clown with one. 2. I figured out that I want to be a Auguste Clown but I've seen alot of the make up that they use and again with my Go Tee I don't know what to do HELP. 3. I have a name picked out but it's either one of two Gumms the Clown or Gummy the Clown and yes because I have no teeth wow I've never told really anybody that but anyway these are some of the questions.

I think goatees look good on clowns; especially the hobo/tramp clowns. I think Gummy sounds cute for a clown name. Have fun clowning around.

"Jolly Well" is a character/tramp clown, and occassionally I'll grow a goatee (meaning I'm sometimes too lazy to shave). I've never had a problem with my tramp make-up while wearing facial hair. I put on my tramp bear with a stipple sponge - not complete make-up cover, and I've found that the goatee blends right in.

Well, for what it is worth , here is my oppinion: go to a few clown websites and look at the pictures of auguste clowns. There are a lot of different looks. (www.coai.org (http://www.coai.org), www.midwestclowns.net (http://www.midwestclowns.net) check the competition winners, www.mooseburger.com (http://www.mooseburger.com) look at the faces of the people wearing the costumes) now get some basic makeup and start to play. Keep the makeup away from your goatee so that it stay natural looking. If you decide to add color to it later, or even just make it blacker you can. After you play take pictures and post them here on the Forum. We will be glad to offer ideas. Remember, these will be ideas and we each have our likes and dislikes, please take the suggestions and try them out, but don't take anything as a platinum rule. Try a few more and post a few more. The best face for you is something that will happen with enough experimentation. Good Luck and keep posting.

I have a full beard and I use a light gray grease paint with a stipple sponge and just follow my natural beard line. I do trim the beard down. I started out with a black beard but it was too harsh for my look. You might try that.
One of the guysthat we clown with has a go tee, he just uses grease paint to color it to blewnd in with his face.
