Has any one ever used the skit forum to build new skits from simple everyday things?
For example, on my first walk-around I locked my keys in my truck, how would this work for a clown skit? [/i]

Could be cool. Always an option, either the passenger door is unlocked, or the obvious and maybe funniest depending on how you pace it- the drivers side window is rolled down :D
It definitely has potential!

You can have the keys on you in a noticeable place...
or unlock the back door and say you've lost your keys for the front door hehe

I heard a joke about something simlar to this, the locksmith is working feverishly at getting the door oppen when he notices that one side is open. the guy points this out to the locksmith, who says, yea, I did that side allready, I just have to get this one .
Love the locksmith joke, Scruff...
I know that's what I've been doing, since in most instances of life you've got to find the good or funny in it, otherwise you might lose it altogether...
Last night my poor doggie ran away.....(sniff)
She got out of the backyard somehow, even though I checked the entire yard and fence. Maybe she was working up a disappearing act and hasn't perfected the second part yet...
Anyways, I was thinking about working up a little skit about Spot. (My dog's name was not Spot, but for the purpose of the skit I changed it.
" Have you seen Spot, he's about this ( ) round, very brightly colored, and has a very shiny coat! "
Ilocked my keys in my car one time and it took three hours to get out

this is a good one say your in your car windows roled down but you drop your keys outside your car and say youve locked yourself in the car on the phone outside and get them to look for em?

There was a episode of Family Guy recently where the main character (Peter) remembers the time he locked himself out of the car. It shows him sitting in a parking lot in his car staring out the window at his keys that are laying on the pavement. And he is yelling at passers-by to help him. When nobody helps him he gets out a coat hanger and tries to get the keys on the pavement with it.
Simple yet funny.
