I recently heard about specific crayons that work really well for facepainting. Has anyone heard of this. What is the best paint to use on the face?

Wal mart-- or other stores have the tattoo markers (non permanent-non toxic) in the school supply section, they are $4.00 or so and work well- there are 6 colors in the package, and we have used them lately in face painting--they work as well as anything else that we have used. Good luck in your search , May God Bless and keeeeeeeeep clowning, tug

I use a couple brands of face paint. The crayon type (ben nye) are great and I have used them for years. It's all personnal preference as you can imagine. Worth a try though.

Just a word about these tattoo markers. My teenagers have used these to draw on themselves. The black washes off but leaves a pink stain on the skin that takes days to wear off. One of the other colors does the same thing.

I definately would NOT suggest face coloring with these!!!
