Hi Everyone,
I have just set up an awesome chatroom on the site.

Its disabled now, but I also set up a countdown timer so all users can see how long it is until the next session.

Right now, its just a test countdown.I was wondering was the same chat session that happened on Yahoo , was that time OK for everyone? ANyone any better suggestions?

I feel that the chat on this site will cause less trouble than running the java applet on yahoo (Its flash based and looks cleaner) and it can be moderated easier, and I was also thinking of posting the transcripts of each chat in a separate section.

Has anyone any ideas/feedback?
Anyone want me to enable the chat so you can all make sure you can access it?

Web Master, you've done an awesome job on the message board so I'm sure the chat room will be all the more better.

I meant to also ask in the last post something about GMT...

I changed mine to meet te curretn time I've got set, but according to what I understand it is scheduled to be at 10pm my time, central standard in Texas. The 8pm slot, two hours before, would work better for me, and that was what it was when we tried this last week in Yahoo.

Also, I saw the chat selection, logged in, and made sure it worked for me.

Wouldn't it be better to have the chat room open at all times? There are several guests here at all times when I've logged in, and maybe som of these people would join as members if they knew the ohers better?

Dave, Yes I kinda agree with Bips... would be nice for chat to be open all the time... or does it take up too much bandwidth?

that would be great to have one on all the time. everytime i come in there are at least 2 ppl in here and it would be great to say hello

same here. there are 4 members and 20 guest, but I understand that it might be better to keep it members only. that way you have some control over useage. any one can join so it's not really keeping anyone out. and if some one inappropriate joined you have some options

I looked to see if there was a clown meetup in my area but no dice! Maybe there's one in yours?

i went to chat to check the count down and it was open does this mean it will always be open anyway as long as it is I will check once in a while to see itf someone is there
