Greetings from Ashes, the fire safety clown. Actually, it is Life and Fire Safety.

bipstheclown, I'm just up the road apiece from ya - in Lewisville, TX. I was at the
Mooseburger Caravan last year (and signed up for next year!)

I got my start as a rodeo clown way back in '75. Was a member, and am a past-president
of the Dallas Magic Club. I've been Ashes the clown since early 80's when the Fire Department
(I'm a Reserve/Volunteer) asked if anyone would be interested in being a clown for a Christmas benefit for some under-privileged kids. They looked right at me, knowing my rodeo clown background.
I've been "Ashes" ever since.

Our clown troupe goes to the elementary schools here and teach life and fire safety to
the kids. Sure beats the old approach of having a fireman stand up and drone on.

Oh, and I'm a tramp clown - down and out on his luck.

I don't have a web site (yet) but we also don't do kids parties or any other functions
except those for the City or Fire Department.

Wahoo!!! Another Cowboy Clown. Howdy Ashes and Welcome to the forum. I perform as a Wacky Cowboy-type Clown originally from Louisville, KY but now living in southern Indiana.

Keep that Cowboy Spirit and our Western Heritage alive!

Hey there Ashes, always glad to see a fellow Texan on board! (Big Wave)

Whoa.....that was a big wave! I got a spare towel here for ya Ashes, hope it helped to put out the fire! :)

But seriously folks....

Financial constraints this year have made it unaffordable this year, mainly because what little extra money I have (making usually from the clowning stuff) I feed back into the Ole Clownin' Machine, to help keep it rollin'...

There's always '06 though, and I'm confident about being an attendee that year...
