I know that most clowns are supposed to be smart alecs, but sometimes you get hit with something and it's hard to come up with a reply.

Fortunately once you have heard a comment such as "You Clown!" yelled at you on the street enough times, you eventually come up with an answer.

Well, a good humorous retort to that without sounding offended (after all, you are a clown) is:

"Yeah!, well at least I dress like a clown!"

Anyone else have any of those?

A couple that I like is to announce"thank you. i was beginning to think no one noticed" and of couse my favorite,to shush them with a finger to my lips and tell them that i am trying to work undercover and don't want my cover to be blown! May God Bless and keeeeeeeep smilin,tug
