Hey guys, just had a great idea while I was welcoming Juju to our Happy House of Hilarity...

Why not develop a clown handshake? Ya know, like a frat house thing....

Kinda like the the build a skit idea, we'll add to it with several posts.

Except, don't make it too complicated, or I might forget how to do it, and you guys might not let me in! :)

'Kay, here goes....

Walla Walla Wipity Woo!

(now hold out either left or right hand, wiggle all the fingers, and stick your thumb up in the air like you're giving the okay sign...)

Who's next?

There are several comedy handshakes that work for clowns.

I know you're talking clown-to-clown like a fraternity thing but
my favorite is for when I shake hands with a child - bounce up and down
on my toes - like they are strong enough to lift me off the ground.

We've done a bit where both clowns extend their hands and'
say "how ya' been' and stuff, and walk right past each other, barely
missing each other's outstretched hands - like you're really greeting
someone behind or past the other clown.

i do the one where you grab the hand then pump it like a squeeze pump then say hi im a memeber of the heart association. or hold a piece of ice in your hand before shaking someones hand and when you do say hello im from the morge.

I love the gag where you have a false hand which you insert into someones hans as though you are shaking their hand and then when they grab it you walk away leaving the false hand in theirs.

If you can wet your hand, and shake with a wet hand, grab their paw and say, could you help me get my gum out of the toilet?

I like to shake the kid's hand and then try to turn around but I pretend that our hands are stuck together. finally I get free and say: What have you put on your hands? Super glue

ANother fun with in to pretent the kid has super human strength. When the kid grabs your finger slowwly drop to your knees like you are in pain.

A little percussion experience Gilbert?

Used to play the drums at my Church till a couple of really good drummers came along. I was looking to step down in order to focuss on clowning, puppetry and other children's work.
