How do you clean them? You can see from my picture I have a curly pink wig that I LOVE (got it at silly farm). It was fairly hot last night when I wore it at the Relay for Life walk. So I might have perspired just a tad...I'm a lady so I don't sweat outright. :) I don't want to lose those gorgeous curls. How do I un-funk it?

Mine came with washing instructions via mooseburger... I think she has the care instructions on her site... of course mine is just long and straight I'm not sure how the curls will react.

I did Relay for Life aswell... Twisting Balloons I made about 70 dollars (donated to the event) the Balloons were provided (a couple of 250 count bags) I only used one bag ... they told me to keep the rest. A nice perk for doing a free event.

I think Fitz did the Relay in his town last night aswell...

Hey, Pinky!

The Jan/Feb issue of New Calliope has a nice illustrated "how-to"
article on this very subject. If you don't get the magazine, see if you can borrow it from another clown. Or I can photocopy it and mail it to you.

Chris, what a great idea. Perhaps next year when I'm a more seasoned clown, I will offer to do balloons too. Wow, I tell ya, there had to be 200 kids there. I can't imagine what a circus (ha!) that would be. I just handed out stickers, lollipops, and let them pet my invisible doggie. I just walked around the track to lift spirits. It was fun.

Thanks, Pickles. I don't belong to COAI yet, so I don't get the magazine. I don't want to put you out, but I'd love to read the article. I'll PM my address to you; please let me know what postage is so I can repay you. God bless!

Chris, what a great idea.

Pinky... Congrats... I think you are the first person to call me by my real name on the forum. lol. :D

I still need to get me one of those Invisible Dogs... However by getting an invisible dog there is a higher chance of stepping in invisible poo.

I was there at the relay with the "Walmart" team ... since as a normal person I work in the Walmart Pharmacy. I arrived at 5:00 as RD and I stayed there untill 10:30 'In Clown'... I carried clothes to change into and my makeup removing products in my clown trunk. And I found one of the bathrooms that was less "Public" and changed. I stayed at the event as "Chris" until 3:00 AM... I was planning on staying all night but I ate one of the shishkabobs that our team was grilling and it gave me some pretty severe heartburn... So I came home early, choked down a couple of tums and some asprin. And went to bed... My soft, cozy bed was a lot more comfortable than my directors chair and milk crate that I had been stretched out on.

I meant no dis-respect by calling you Chris, LOL. ;)
Speaking of invisible poo, I take along some baggies, and scold my puppy for making a mess and then proceed to clean up after him with the empty baggies. or you can put tootsie rolls in there (the mini kind!). The kids really get a kick out of that "dog"! I am disappointed with the quality of mine, but I can't expect much for what I paid, I suppose.

We've done Relay for years, and have yet to make it all the way through the night. As I am not getting any younger (funny how that works), I don't suppose I will in the future, either. But you're a young whipper-snapper. You should weather those all-nighters, no problem! LOL

Hi Pinky,

I've always followed the instructions on the Mooseburger site. Here's where they are located.

Pricilla Mooseburger Originals - Care and Washing Instructions (http://www.mooseburger.com/pricilla/care.html)

Works for me and I have the curls too.

Hi Pinky, I have both short straight wigs and long curly ones and I always just wash them with a little dish soap then blot blot blot. They say to never wring them out. Lay it on a towel and let dry. Never had a problem with the curls bouncing right back. If my curls get a little droopy, what I do is just put a little (don't know what they call it these days) dippity doo (gel) on it with my fingers and kind of scrunch it up and wallah, perky curls.

If you don't use one, then also wearing a good wig cap will save you from lots of extra washings as it is guard between your "glistening" and your wig!!!!

Mine is my natural hair. One the side of the bottle it said lather, rinse, repeat. I have been doing this for 4 hours and now look what happened!
