I've been watching Ebay for a runt bike. My nine year old son wants one. I would have to try it. I've seen the scoots, just haven't had a chance to try one 8)

I'm keep my eyes open for a cycle or trike myself, something that will work well in a parade situation.

There's a local magic auction that I'm going to 021905, and I can't wait to see what kind of tricks they have....

I saw your question about that Trikke... wanted to let you know you can find a lot more info on them at http://www.trikketalk.com. It's a good resource for Trikke info - plus they have other links for different websites about kickbikes and other crazy scooters. You should check it out.

I wonder if you could make a clown trike out of those big trike motorcycles they have. Now that would be fun. :D I'm thinking White with rainbow spots and streamers flying off the handles. Spiral spinning rims on the wheels and a bubble blower coming off the exhaust.

In a neighboring town. There is a guy who has a giant tricycle sitting in is front yard. The front wheel is a rubber coated steel back wheel of of a 1920's farmall tractor! It looks great the wheel is about five feet tall!
The bad news... No bearings you couldn't ride it if you had to. But, I think the front wheel off of an adult bike would do the job. Likely to get the pedals, cranks and such, you would have to use the biggest unicycle wheel you could find.
I just had an idea. Sitting here they just showed an add for American Chopper. When I was a kid, some guys would extend the fron forks on a bike and make a chopper bicycle. make one of those up with the streamers, spinners, baseball card in the spoke, big Ape hanger bars And for a helmet............

Got any ideas.

oh Yeah, and a vest that says hecks clowns, or hecks angels, a popular biker group around here is the iron coffins. your could be the waffle irons.

How about a bike (motor) with a propeller, or a bike helmet with a spike....
The streamers are a great idea too, Jobee. they look great!

I used to ride one of those a few years ago (not in clown though). They are great fun to ride but have the disadvantages of both cars and motorcycles (you can't filter through traffic like a bike can and you are exposed to the elements). However if you are an all weather motorcyclist a trike is great for winter riding as they are more stable in slippery conditions than a bike. With the right custom work they could make an excellent clown vehicle. I can just picture myself riding to and event on a trike and then using it in my routine. Big wide baloony type tyres and a bright paint job to mach your costume! You could even get a great big clown horn to go on it. If crash helmets are required by law then you can get them customised too. Great idea Jobee  :D
