While looking for an alternative to expensive custom made shoes (not in the budget yet), I found that footlocker.com has closeout pricing on their larger sized athletic shoes. I got a pair of size 18 Nike Air Futuristic's for 29.99! Lots of sizes, colors and styles are available. Shipping is reasonable.....Just a heads up for any one interested....Willy Nilly

Willy Nilly,

Thanks a Mill on the shoe gig. I knew one was out there but couldn't remember who had them.

Hey, no problem. In fact I got the size 18's and they were too small. I returned them and got 22's. They are great! I have received many compliments on them. I got really good service from Foot Locker (through Amazon), and I would recommend them to others. Get yours today!
Keep Smilin'....Willy Nilly

We have three family members putting together clown costumes for our church's new clown ministry. Talk about a budget bite!!! We have been looking at local thrift stores and found one pair of white leather KEDS, never worn, for one costume. And for my costume a pair of gently worn (but clean) yellow canvas sneakers. Just one more pair to find! So, thrift stores can be a great place to shop.
