Just read this article. The gist is that there is a sports guy anti-face painting claiming that sports fans wearing paint look like "Clown College Rejects". That's an ouch.

He is completely anti-paint anything, face or body.

nuts... Honestly I don't think I'd want to sit next to a bunch of rowdy painted belly types, but you have to give them credit, some will do it in extremely cold weather and if they're brave/dumb ? enough to go to all that trouble, plus pay the $$ for the tickets to be there, leave'm alone and let them have their fun.

It's not easy being green (or apparently any other color these days.)
Makes one wonder with the election campaigning , whatever happened to the right of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

Some people will slander anyone to get their name in print. I also replyed to the article.

There might be corruption on the part of the paper too. There were tons-and-tons of (approved by them!) pro face painting comments. Look today - all the comments have been removed!
