Ok for the past couple of years that I've been RD I've used the Yellow Silly boy wig many of you know me in... A few months ago I also bought a red fun flip wig for a new character (Lewie) which I'm having a costume made for ... (The lady I know making it says it should be done very soon) ...

Anyways today Bubbles and I went to a nursing home gig... I had today off so I took my time getting ready this morning. As I was getting ready I noticed the Red Fun Flip hanging up in my closet... I thought I'd try it with RD's look. I put the yellow wig on and went to the nursing home. Check the avatar and the picture on my profile.

What do you guys and gals think of RD as a redhead?? Do you think he should stay blonde?? What do you think of the style I know the red fun flip will look perfect on Lewie... but I'm starting to look for different options for RD.

Opinions appreciated!

I think a wig is a wig. It's a tool in the tool box like a different nose or an extra pair of pants. The red head look is great. I have no preference either for or against RD as a red head. I think it. would be a useful way to be a different clown in a show without having to do a complete makeup change.

A Redhead RD is great! It does make you look younger (not that you are old by any stretch!) and it reminds me of some of the modern Auguste clowns. I hate to say it but I think I like the Red even more than the blond!

I like the fun flip style... I've been thinking about getting one for RD ... possibly orange or yellow... The Sillyboy one I wear now has seen a lot of use. I wish there was a bigger variety of wigs for men... but you've just got your standard silly boy, curly, bald, butch, and moe... and thats it... I wish there were more options.

I'm with ya there, Mr. D. I'm bald in real life, and would occassionally like my clown to have hair. I just really haven't settled on a style or look that fits Wowza. I think I'll stick to hats. Plus, I can always glue a Little People rabbit on my head, pull off my hat and ask kids if they like my hare! Or I ask if they want to watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat, then take the hat off and look surprised that the rabbit isn't in there.

Ahhh, anything for a laugh.

"Should I be a redhead? Should I be a blonde"?

You're starting to sound like me every time I go to my hair stylist!! :D

Gosh, Dazzle, I'm kind of diggin' you as a redhead. Do you feel any different when you're hair is red?

I like the fun flip style. As far as red or blonde that's your call.

I think the red wig lifts your face more and helps present a different sort of impression which, perhaps, better fits your overall look.
