Alright, here it is: once you can do three throws (one two three) do four. (one, two, three, four) then five six seven etc.

Also what might help is starting with opposite hands. So when you catch all three from two in the left and one in the right, start again but with two in the right hand and one in the left. It should actually end up like this every time you do it. Just speed up your turn around time and eventually it will be easier not to catch them all at once and just keep going.

I hope all that made sense!

This is where I became stuck for the longest time. You've done a complete exchange, so you're juggling, but all the books I ever saw ended the advice there. Still I was having a "fourth-throw freeze". I think the trouble is that there is a tendency to over-focus on making that third catch. You know you can make an exchange in your left hand, you just did it once.

first, try starting your first toss from your left hand every now and then like Papoberto suggests. When you get to 3 tosses and three catches from a south paw stance (two balls in yer off-hand) then you will have a lot more off-hand competency. Then you can start with two in your dominant hand. Do three tosses and three catches then pause and repeat because now you have two in your off hand, do three more tosses and catches that way. Then all you have to do is eliminate that pause.

second, try tossing higher every once in a while, if you can aim your arcs a little higher without seriously tracking them with your eyes then you can buy a little extra time between throws to thaw your freeze. Generally, you want your arcs to be at head height, if you can toss a little higher and still keep your eyes up and hands low then you will add more time between throws without compromising form. If keeping your tosses from going forward on the third toss is really no problem anymore, then maybe you could single that third toss out to be a little extra high (look on you tube for tips on the under-leg toss). Same set-up, but you're just trying to squeeze a fourth toss out before you catch the third.

third, music music music. The fourth beat of every song is what gets yer feet tapping, the right song may help you find the rhythm of your juggle without any conscious effort at all really. I've heard that juggling uses both sides of the brain, either way it's kind of a zen thing and music can't hurt.
