Hey Friends!! I am so excited! I have my first "Real" (paid) party coming up in a few weeks (THANKS SUE!!) & need some suggestions... It's gonna be anywhere from 10 - 20 kids. The birthday girl is turning 3. I have quoted her for 2 clowns but I'm actually throwing in a 3rd clown free because my hubby is going with us. We'll only be there an hour or so, so I'm thinking we'll play a game or 2 & do a few simple magic tricks about 20-30 minutes then do balloons. I need some suggestions on games for preschoolers & things my hubby can do to entertain them while the other clown & I twist. What are some things y'all do with children this age?

2-3 year olds won't particularly "get" relay races, but they LOVE duck duck goose, especially if you make it silly.... (cow, cow, bunny!)

"Clown says" (simon says)

Dancing with silks....I bought some Tulle at the fabric store and cut it into lengths, turn on some music and let them dance around.....

this age is pretty easy to keep occupied for 14 minute spurts.....

Oh I'm glad it worked out for you. If you can be out side bubble are neat for little ones, You can get a bubble machine fairly cheap at wal-mart, but hubby could blow and let them pop them, but if you've got a machine he gets to help pop them..

we were talking in chat about clowns working together, it's nice to be able to refer some one else. Looking forward to hearing how it goes.

PARACHUTE!! If you have one, you should totally use it... they can be entertained forever just trying to keep a toy in the air on it.
