hello all and so glad to be here
I am looking for a little input from other clowns on costumes. I am a clown myself who makes all of my costumes, and would like to expand my vision a little by making costumes for others Is there a feature that is hard for you to find? or maybe a problem with sizes or with finding costumes for your gender? I would appreciate all the feed back to help me with what to offer.Cant wait to hear from all of you even if just to say hello.
Wishing you bright smiles
JoJo

Welcome Jo Jo, glad to have you join the group.
I tend to make my own costumes as well, I like to be able to pick the fabric out and plan how I want it to look. But alway interested in finding people who also make them.

Welcome to the forum! I always have a hard time finding something that I won't melt in with the Florida heat so I just made my own.

Welcome JoJo!
I think you are on the right track. There are many clowns who make their own costumes. For tramps I think it's almost mandatory. But, many clowns are not skilled with needle and thread.
I would look around on Ebay and some of the other clown costume makers websites for ideas. DO a search on Ebay for pianobsharp she has an ebay store. Be creative and original. One clown costume for a guy I always thought would be neat is the old fashioned little kid with the knickers and straw hat. Kinda like buster brown of old.
