View Full Version : i found my favourite makeup remover! Perry Noia 09-19-2008, 12:46 PM Avon eye makeup remover cream. Smear it on and wipe it off with a damp washcloth. It's very moisturizing too. Sir Toony Van Dukes 09-19-2008, 08:51 PM How is its price? Baby oil is fairly cheap and goes a long way. And it is easy for us guys since we don't have to go to the makeup counter or anything. Willace-the-Clown 09-24-2008, 05:14 AM I dont like baby oil to remove my greasepaint it jut gets all smeery but i do like the ponds makeup remover whipes plus i use a back brush with alot of soap to get the main stuff off then the whipes for around my eyes & around my nostrils Perry Noia 09-24-2008, 07:13 AM The avon stuff is quite affordable and not as greasy feeling as putting oil all over your face. No makeup counter either... the Avon person brings it to your door! Violet 09-24-2008, 08:51 AM The makeup remover wipes work really good! I buy them at the dollar store! cte53271 09-24-2008, 11:15 AM I have some baby oil that I bought, to take off the make up. What do you use to clean your brushes? tim 09-24-2008, 11:23 AM I have some baby oil that I bought, to take off the make up. What do you use to clean your brushes? I use Hydro to remove my makeup and the same to clean brushes. I then wipe the brush fairly dry. Christopher Clown 09-24-2008, 12:00 PM Martha Stewart reccomends that you wash your Makeup brushes with just a normal shampoo and conditioner since in most brushes the bristles are some sort of natural hair. Perry Noia 09-24-2008, 12:35 PM I've been thoroughly wiping my brushes with a baby wipe. It doesn't get it all out but it keeps it from getting really gunky. I don't wash my regular makeup brushes because it messes up my powder makeup because they NEVER dry enough. The brushes I'm using for my grease paint are just cheap ones from Michael's so I can always replace them if they get too icky. Fitzwilly 09-24-2008, 02:56 PM I use baby shampoo and/or liquid body wash as the first step in removing my makeup. I have a soft sponge that I use and then periodically rinse it out. Baby wipes or Hydro-cleanse on a makeup rag for he eye areas and occasionally Noxema or Ponds for deep cleaning. I may have to try the Avon once I get a little lower on my "stash." Thanks 'Noia |
