Was wondering if anyone had any ideas for skits for children to perform. My daughter has a variety show and wants to perform. She is 10 years old and loves making balloon animals. Skit must be simple and fairly short. Thanks.

Does she have a theme for the show? does it need to be a certain amount of time?

My yong clown do a solo version of the pesky fly,
Basically sitting on a park bench and being harrassed by the invisible fly[ non verbal, work on facial expressions,

or come out with a box of props and do a version of "who line is it any why, were you have to come up with a many uses for an item or use different items for hats.,

when the kids in my group practice, we do simple, [minds gone blank for the correct word ? Add-lib?]

non-verbal, picking flowers, then being chased by a bee, driving a car and having trouble with the controls and getting it started, once started drive off, etc. Hope this gives you some ideas on things.

My 11 year old daughter does the Busy Bee Skit with me...but could easily be done with another child....or better yet...have her do it with a teacher that gets the water in the face! That would be very funny........
