Does anybody have Joey D'Auria's books of skits, My Favorite Comedy Sketches? If so, what do you think of them?

Welcome to the forum, Tim. I wasn't aware that there was a book of Joey's skits. Now I'll have to look!
I always though Joey did a great job as the new Bozo. Even thought he was different than Bob Bell.
....Talk about having big shoes to fill......Sheesh. :D

Welcome to the forum, Tim.

Thanks much! Aren't you going to greet me with a specially made pie (all just for me)?

He took a LOT of getting used to, but did a fine job of dealing with the role and differenciating himself. Comparisons were inevitible, but he was smart enough to know not to try to be Bob Bell's (the REAL) Bozo, while necessarily maintaining a certain degree of continuity of character and making it his own.

It does sound like a great book. I haven't heard anything about it until now. It's on my wish list now.

I think Fitz owns a copy. He probably hasn't ever cracked it open, though.

Knowing Fitz, he probably hasn't had time to crack it open.

Not yet Will. Like Fitz, finding time (and money) can always be challenging. I think you can special order it through Barnes and Noble or Borders, though. I should do that (along with about a dozen other clowning books I want. Oh, wait - there's that stinkin' time and cash factor again.)

Thanks for the reminder, though.
