I'm looking for some white cotton gloves, inspection-glove style. I found one place on-line that sells them, but I'm not sure I've got the money for shipping. I totally don't even know where to begin looking to get them locally.

Does anyone know of any stores, or types of stores, that may sell plain white gloves?

Yup, that was the place I'd found. If I can't find a local place, that's where I'm going to go through.

You might check with auto body supply stores. If you live near a military base see if someone can get you Mess Dress gloves from the uniform shop

Have you checked with your local costume shop? They might be able to order some for you and save some shipping costs.

If you are talking about the dress style gloves, check with your local clothing store (Belks, Macy's and so on ) just about any place that has tuxx's will have dress gloves. I don't recll Wal-Mart carring them but they might.

Band gloves, I'll definitely check that out. In retrospect, band gloves are exactly what I'm looking for (I played Baritone Horn in high school, but that was years ago).

RUN don't walk to your local rite aid, walgreens, ect. The hallooween row has 75% off and I found white gloves for 75 cents. There are black ones too. Also a good time to buy fake eyelashes if you need them. 75 cents instead of the normal 6 dollars.

I never thought of that. I know where I'm going after work. ^.^
