Perry Noia 11-10-2008, 08:12 PM YOu can paint it on if you like that look... it didn't work for what I wanted (looked kind of cheap, halloween costume to me). If you can find a local costume shop that carries ProKnows or the other brands of professional clown noses, you can try some on to see if you like the look of them. You really can't tell from the online pictures which will work for you and your character.... some say certain brands are better for certain types of characters, but if there's one thing that I've learned from this forum... it's that there's no wrong way to clown. Fitzwilly 11-10-2008, 09:36 PM By far the best way to choose a clown nose is to try a few on. Some will fit your nose and some will not. Of the ones that fit your nose some you will like and some you will not. Of the ones that fit and that you like some will work with your character and some won't. I have at least 5 styles, make that 7 styles of noses that I can think of right now. I wear one most of the time. I have regularly worn a couple of the other styles and a couple of them just didn't work for me, meaning I didn't like the look, or the feel, or that indescribable "something" so they sit on a shelf for the future. Sir Toony Van Dukes 11-10-2008, 10:23 PM I found picking my nose to be a difficult task. Especially with the flat 2-d pictures available online. I didn't know if I had a big nose or not. I can measure my hat size, but not my nose. If you can find a store that sells noses or go to a convention that is the best way to try out a few noses.
