Hi Gigi, how is Florida treating you? I have a question: Is there a difference between Palm Beach and Royal Palm Beach? I have never been there and was curious if they are one in the same, or maybe two entirely separate areas. :? Take care, R.C.F.

Hey there Fred!

Well, Palm Beach is like an island and it's located between the ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway. It is also the kind of place where us normal folk can't afford to live. The Kennedys have a home there as well as Donald Trump. It's quite nice to drive through and see how the other half live though. The homes (I mean mansions) are quite beautiful. On the other side of the bridge is West Palm Beach which is just a regular run of the mill, fairly large city. A little further west is Royal Palm Beach. It's smaller than West Palm Beach but growing fast, It consists mostly of neighborhoods and some businesses. They have been putting up alot of high dollar developments here now, which is good for us because the value of our home has doubled since we bought it 3 years ago. Well there you have the condensed version of where's what in Palm Beach County.
