So I'm getting better at juggling everyday. However, juggling with gloves on is a real barrier for me. Any advice? Should I just try to practice through it? I thought about trying to add somesort of textured stuff to my gloves, but I'm afraid that will just end up making creepy handshakes. I can't even really be sure if it's the texture or lack of sensation that's messing me up. As it is, i'm thinking of just editing gloves out of my character (which is still very under-construction anyway).

AHA!! THAT's why I can't juggle! It must be those pesky gloves!!

Pickles ... maybe when you're juggling, you could hang your gloves on your ears ... I'm sure the points of your ears would fit nicely in the finger holes.

i know this post is old but i just got around to reading it during the parades this past christmas season i juggled down the path wearing gloves to keep my hands warm and didn't have a problem in fact i was wearing two pair they were loose fitting that might be a help and the one set had the fingers cut off. wow sorry that sounds more like bragging then helping. all i can say is the gloves were loose fitting

I find that fingerless gloves are easier to juggle in. But there is nothing wrong with taking the gloves off and sticking them in your pocket when you're about to juggle or do a card trick or whatever... Often I'll arrive wearing my gloves, take them off when I get ready to do the magic portion of my show, continue with balloons or whatever then maybe put them back on for picture time at the end

Removing gloves for portions of your show is not only "ok," but suggested. Gloves just add suspicion to vanishes and productions anyway... If it makes juggling easier - then pocket them for a while.
