Hey guys, I just got my wonderful new clown shoes. Some "Converse" big toe style with multi-colored polka dots from Clownmart. I'm so excited! They're ultra roomy in the toes...do any of you stuff the toe area of your shoes? If so, what do you recommend?

I stuffed the entire shoe with 2 in thick foam that I got from fabric store. Very comfortable. I cut the foam like it was an insole to fit the entire shoe. My foot crunches down the part of the insole under my foot and the empty toe part is full of the foam because there no foot on that part of the insole.

do you know if there's any way of putting orthotics into any brand of clown shoes? I can't wear my orthotics with my current shoes because I just have regular converse and I got my orthotics to fit my wide width shoes instead... I don't knwo if any of that made sense, I'm tired.

Clown mart maryjane shoes have a lot of room both under the foot and at the toe. It just depends how thick your orthodics are. If you post the dimensions of your orthotics I could probabley guesstimate if they would fit, and still leave room for your foot.

but would they stay where they are supposed to or slide all over the place?

A couple of suggestions would be to take your inserts to your local converse store and find a size that they are comfortable with and then order the pair of shoes you want. If you are looking for actual clown shoes, the best way is to have one of the venders measure your feet with inserts. I don't know if they will be at Moose Camp, but I'm sure one of the alumni can tell us that info.

For my Clown-Mart Converse I actually fit a pair of my regular sized low top converse inside of them... then I packed the big empty toes with old mismatch socks.
