I got a cool compliment from my six year old daughter that I just had to share with you guys...

My wife was reading her a bedtime story, one of the chapters out of one of the Harry Potter books. I sat in the living room finishing up things for the night. I overheard her talking to mom before they started reading...

" My daddy isn't a muggle like Harry Potter's stepparents. "

My wife said, " Oh, and why is that? "

My daughter replied, " Because since he's a clown, he can do magic! "

I nearly laughed out loud and broke the moment... :)

That's so cute.

I'm as big a Harry Potter Fan as any kid you'll meet. I can't wait til this weekend to get the next book.

You guys crack me up! You should see all the tape I've had to use. Once I heal the tapes really gonna smart when I pull it off! :)

I stood in line with the little 'un to get our reserved number, and we waited in the stor for 4 hours until 12:01am to buy it. My oldest, 16, grew up reading the Harry Potter books since they irst came out, so its a common thing in our household.

One thing tho that I thought the bookstore should have had there was a clown! Barnes and Noble is certainly big enough, they could have set up a stage in the children's area.

If only I had thought of it sooner.....:(

I love the books, my oldest were to old to get in to the series, but my youngest is re reading the 5th before she does the new one. Some thing about magic, brings the child out in me. 8O
