Okay gang, let's be honest here. Hypothetically, for one year, you have to either give up clowning or watching television (completely)! This may be a tough one for some, and possibly very easy for others!

View Full Version : Clowning or Television? RedClownFred 07-22-2005, 02:03 AM Okay gang, let's be honest here. Hypothetically, for one year, you have to either give up clowning or watching television (completely)! This may be a tough one for some, and possibly very easy for others! Darrell 07-22-2005, 04:14 PM Giving up televison would not be too hard for me except for football and basketball. Other than sports, I hardly ever watch TV. Darrell saphireSue 07-22-2005, 04:30 PM as long as I can use my PC., I'd be fine, to give up TV. GiGi 07-29-2005, 11:36 AM Yes, me too. As long as I have my computer I could live without TV. GiGi :) RedClownFred 07-30-2005, 02:56 AM I know Darrell. Sports would be the achillies heel for me too! But compared to not being a clown, I'll check my PC for the sports report! Spangles 07-30-2005, 02:53 PM Easy answer...Tank the Tube! IMO, TV is 99.9% brain rot...at least a PC requires SOME conscious thought. Ryden_The_Rails 07-31-2005, 07:24 PM Now you see here! im 13 and my life (during summer) is boring without summer! my summer revolves around tv thats why ide stop watching tv in a sec 1 cause clownings fun 2 because i could go without tv for a couple years!  Patch 07-31-2005, 10:22 PM I'm pretty sure that I could give up the tube. I would hate to not be able to see a smile on a childs face. I was just telling my wife about how Clowning makes me feel young again. I just get so much joy out of doing it when-ever I can. I may not be the best at it yet, but I haven't heard a child not laugh at me yet. I guess it's not hard to laugh at someone as goofy as me though, just ask Wilmoe. ashes 08-01-2005, 09:44 AM I don't watch much television anyway -- too busy with many other things. But remember, in all things, moderation and make wise, enlightened and intelligent decisions. That goes for what you watch on television as well as all other aspects of your life. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water -- there are good television programs out there. Now, they are harder to find than the drivel that is offered to the masses on network television for the most part, but they are there. Television is a tool to convey ideas. As to the original post - I can easily give up the tube. Ashes RedClownFred 08-07-2005, 01:48 AM Here's to clowning and those that make intelligent decisions in doing so! Keep on gang!
