I have been asked to help out with a few skits for our VBS program this summer...fists time the church has ever given me some advance notice. Do you of anyplace I can get a chipmunk puppet to use as a tie in to the VBS program? Have looked on the internet but biggest on I have found is only 11" dont think the kids in the back of the goup would be able to see it. if anyone knows where I can get one or have one made( if price not too high) please let me know.

Beansie, do you know what company is producing the VBS material? That company may have some resources. I looked on like too. The eleven inch is the largest I fount also.

Checked with them and they do not offer any puppets. found one group that would make a 30in fullbody for me for $200. Has anyone ordered from PJ Puppets?

I don't know if Axtell has a chipmunk or not ... buy maybe one look at their prices will make the $200 purchase a lot easier.

Do you sew, or know anyone who does? For someone with skills in this area, a stuffed animal doll pattern can be blown up and have the mouth modified to make a very desireable puppet. If not, you may just have to open-up the pocketbook or use a videotaping process where what you are doing can also be shown on a bigger screen. Much like the process of the jumbo screens at ball games or in big churches. Works great with an LCD projector. Good Luck!

Wait, how'd we get around to discussing blow up dolls for VBS? I don't know that the kids' pastor will like that concept.
