Right now I purchase pretty much all my supplies through Silly Farm. We go through a LOT of makeup every year and I am not terribly satisfied with their prices. Does anyone have another source that's better?
Thanks in advance!

Hmmm I have to say that for someone who come from Europe, Sillyfarm prices are not so high, its all about taxes.
Take a look at that (sorry its in French) it's for the Fardel products Tarifs peintures fards poudres pour corps body paints (http://www.tableau-vivant.com/francais/boutique_tarifs.htm)
I was searching a lot on the web and Sillyfarm is the only good place that I found. And I have to say that they offer a really good customer services.
For Wolfe products you can buy them directly to them but I think the prices are the same as Sillyfarm.
You can take a look at that site Kryolan Aquacolor: Clown/ Face Painters / Character / Products / Alcone Company (http://www.alconeco.com/products/character/clown_face_painters/kryolan_aquacolor) for kryolan they are 20 cts less than Sillyfarm, but the have only the 3,5 oz.
 sorry I'm not so helpful ...

Thanks.
I will continue looking. Perhaps I will contact these makeup companies directly and resell myself -- just add that to the retail side of things.

If you are going through enough paints, have you looked into going directly to one of the manufacturers? You might be able to become a distributor.
But, I was somewhat surprised to see that I can get the primary colors of Snazaroo from my local Party City store. Their price beats the price that Snazaroo offers. It even beat the price Gary charged at the Circus Magic Convention. I have used coupons and saved even more. But, the don'e have the full selection...

That's what I am going to look into. Depending on startup costs I might become a distributor myself. If so you will definately hear ALL about it, because I will fight for your business.

I did read through a few of their pages about wholesale and bulk pricing. Some looked like they want you to be an official store, theme park, or instructor to get the best prices. There are a few face painters in my area who always seem to have product to sell. For me, it would be hard to compete with their established market. Although, I guess I could befriend the local magic shop or juggling store and get them to carry the product and let me get the better prices.
Can we get a Clown Forum discount?
