I have come up with a birthday show for kids ages 6-9 but I don't really know what to use or do for a party for a kid ages 2-4. Also, is there much difference between the ages of 2 and 4 when it comes to what a clown normally does?
Thanks!

Find out the kind of things the kid likes, you may be able to adapt a couple of things for this one. Depending on what you have planned, I doubt you will have to adapt much. I would tone things down as far as volume level, Try not to scare them with anything too loud. If you are going to sing, make sure the songs work. But as far as tricks, I doubt it will have any bearing.

I just did my first for a 1 yr old as Sally with most of the guest between 2-3, I have some simple tricks and they went over well, flower from wand, making popcorn from kernals in my change bag, magic coloring book, sponge ball, color changing feather dusters. I have several color changing tricks. but we also used music, Walmart has a Kareoke [sp] cd with 50 children songs with words and with out, they really like doing the train, I pick out two train songs and kids took turn being conductor all over the yard, hokey pokey, Bingo, I had plan to take bubbles, but at the last min, left them behind, never missed them. followed by face painting at the end while the b-kid opened gifts. Most stood back and watched but I had one little fellow about 4 and his sister about 9 really get into it and it brought the other kids nearer, at the end every one but the 1 yr old had a full face design., Also, not to plug wal mart, but they've alot on clearance, like the hoover disc on sale, and they had a 2ft cloth covered blow up ball. I got them, kids always like to play. Hope this helps
