Here is what I put together to work with my clown mentor tonight at a restaurant and to go with him to a clowning event next weekend. He is doing his non makeup, restaurant black pants, vest & bow tie w/ matching hat look.

Look acceptable for what I am doing?

Thanks for the help. I can always count on the wonderful clowns here to be there ;o)

P.S. My son took the pic w/ my phone so the pic isn't the best quality and I have not regular makeup on so ignore my face, haha. That is my baby Chihuahua Roxi that I am holding.

I think it looks fine, but maybe still a little like a typical customer. A few more buttons/pins might work...

Thank you. I hope the 4 buttons I ordered will be here by Wednesday. I didn't end up wearing it tonight because I had to drop my son off somewhere and didn't have time to change before hanging out with him to do balloons.

I kind of flopped when I tried to do balloons with him tonight. I was very disappointed in myself. It is mostly because I have been using knock off balloons from local party good stores and not ordering the quality type balloons and nerves was the other part of it. I will be practicing up this week so I can be a little more prepared for our gig next Saturday. I still need to work on the humor side of it.

I have a few buttons that I have collected since starting clowning, including my Clown Forum button from Princess. But, I have also made a few of my own. You might be able to find plastic photo buttons from a craft store. It is a clear plastic that lets you put a picture inside and wear it like a button. I put a picture of myself in one. You could also use it to make a name badge. I have also made a few smaller pins by putting a tie tack on the back of a button.

I haven't spent a lot of time working with balloons. The experienced twisters make it look so easy. I alway think I am going to pop the balloons. I am sure that you will get better with a little practice.

Coming up with jokes, stories, and questions will also get easy with experience. When I first got started, I felt weird using the same joke 20 times in a row, but if you have a new audience, they weren't there the other 19 times.
