About a week ago someone asked about a productin box that was circus related...i made this back in 1991, it was easy and saved me a bundle of money, i use it almost every show i do for kids. If you have any questions on how to make it or how it works. Just ask.. LOOK FOR THE PICS UNDER MY PAGE IN THE BARBERSHOP

From your pics it is hard to tell if your box works the same way as the ones made by the pro's, or where it opens to quickly and cleanly remove the bunny from the box so the audience can have a better look. With the one's made by pro's, the part of the front that has the bars is the door that opens. That is where you load from and that is what opens to remove the rabbit as well. The gimmick to work the illusion also is setable with only that door open, and is very simple to work when doing the trick. We have one of these in our store for about $200.

This one loads from the top and the black-art panel sits at an angle the top door holds the false floor/ with the rabbit above...i load a white balloon in that side door.. I usually draw a picture of a rabbit and i build it up by drawing teeth on the rabbit , that is why it needs to be in a cage behind bars.. Then i put a black cloak over the box and when i take the cloak away. I trip the door to release the gimmick. It works real well..the only thing i have had happen in maybe 2 performances,, was part of the balloon when popped flew out..

Thanks saphire sue.. I have fun using it. Many magic props can be made if you are just a little handy with tools..
