My husband is a minister. We both are Christian clowns. We spread the Gospel in many ways with our clowning. In Newark, Ohio, if you can get to Clown Town, in the Middle of May, you could learn so much from the instructors as well as vendors about Christian Clowning. It is a fun way to teach others how great is our Lord!

Brandons, ask your friends father if he can help mentor you. He is your best link to other clowns and training as well.
As you can see by the earlier postings Clown come in all types just like people. But unlike people, all Clowns can be discolored by only one Clown. What ever type of Clowning you do, don't do it for the money, or the audience, do it for yourself and do it with good taste.

Hey Brandon, Check your yellow pages under Clowns. Note that this will be Clowns trying to make a little money, and some may just see you as competision. But most of the clowns I know are very friendly. Try www.coai.org/ . This is "Clowns of America International", they have a good list of Clowns from all over. I you live in Oregon, Try "rosecityclowns.org" , I am the Master at Arms. Call me if you want. I am a "Charity Clown", ie. I do it for no money at charity event. I have twelve years in face and now help teach the beginner classes.

Good Luck, Jose "Charlie" S.
