now i'm trying b-day parties after doing my daughters party . i perform 10 kids magic tricks and own a cotton candy machine. i'm now practicing ballon twisting and face painting, i do 5 ballons now. i am having a ball with this even though i don't get much calls . i quess its like everythings else your name and rep. has to get out there.

Welcome Skeebo
It does take time to be known but if you work at it it does come
The main thing is to have fun and the rest will take care of itself
If you enjoy it the people can tell and pretty soon the word gets out
As far as balloons go check out your library for Captain Visuals Big Book Of Balloons its a great book for beginners

Next one with mostlikely be in Columbia, March or April, I know it's sched. but I haven't looked it up lately. If you get to go maybe we can meet up then. Or if you're every up this way.

Hey skeebo:
sounds like you got what it takes, and seeing as you have the "want to" I think you're off to a great start.

Hi, Skeebo!

I'm a Life And Fire Safety Clown for my local fire department.
That's all I do, in the way of clowning, although I got my
start as a rodeo clown way back when I was young and more
stupid.

If you are interested in continuing the Life And Fire Safety clowning
(LAFS) then you should look into going to Bullhead City, AZ for
their nationwide conference at the end of January. Check out
http://www.afbea.org for more details.

Welcome to the site! There are a lot of good folks here, and
lots of great information!

Take care!

Welcome, Skeebo! I'm Sassy. We'll learn together!

My strengths so far are face painting and parades. I like doing those things. Not so good yet on magic, and I gave up balloons (phobia). Keep getting out there and trying your thing. Experience will help teach you what works. And keep coming here. Our experienced clowns are terrific. I'm already learning loads of stuff. :)
