Hi DuckTape! I don't really have any experience in these matters, but I just wanted to welcome you and tell you that I just love your name.
Maybe your act could involve duct tape in some way? Maybe there are some magic tricks you could do with it? Or a rubber duckie?
Again, welcome, and I hope the others have some good suggestions for you!
Michelle
Hi Duck Tape welcome to the forum
As far as what to charge it depends on a lot of things like location size of party how long a party and how much others in your area charge
When I first started out I did a lot of freebies to work on my skills and I still do charity jobs
As far as a act goes it takes time to develope one so take your time it will be worth it as long as you can make people enjoy themselves you will be all right
You have come to the right place to ask questions and get answers feel free to join in chat on Thurs 9 est and ask all you want

Howdy! Welcome to the clown forum!
Like Michelle said, how about something with Rubber duckys? You could but a few of them and then hot glue them or something to a ride ribbon and poof, duck tape!

For birthday parties, call around, and check out prices others are charging in your area. some areas support 100plus / hr. smaller depressed areas might be 50 for party. All so consider your cost, prep time, supplies, travel time. etc. before pricing. also consider doing different package deals. I live in an econmically depressed area with mills closing, warehouse and mill work is the dominate work here.
