Just a thought for something to put with your coloring book pages. Don't know if anyone else has done or said this before but Wall Mart, K-Mart, Walgreens, and other chain stores in some states already have school supplies on sale cheep. I would think you could buy the big packs of crayons real cheep. Then punch a hole in the corner of your business card and loop it with a rubber band. Use it to wrap around 3 or 4 crayons and pass them out with your coloring book pages. The packs of 24 crayons often sell for a quarter. That would figure out to be not more than $.05 per child added to the cost of your coloring book page. Also its another way to advertise with your business cards. The parents can loop the rubber band around their key chain or purse handle to keep track of the card if they are anticipating needed it for reference later on.

Meijer's stores are working to beat Walmarts prices on school stuff now so things are even cheaper..a 70 page themebook is 5 cents and a 24 pack of crayons is 19 cents and Crayola Markers are 79...no I dont work for any store..but wow..good prices!

Thanks Squiggles. If you put four crayons per coloring book page that would cost you 3 cents. Pretty cheep! You could put one odd color like brown, black or white in with three more standard colors. The rubber bands I checked for those small clear hair ones on ebay just to get a comparison and 300 go for $1.50 so that ends up being 5 cents for every ten kids which would total up to 35 cents per 10 kids. That is a standard birthday party for 35 cents? Super deal! A park or festival event for 200 kids would cost you about $7.00. That is cheaper than balloons.

Great, did you see the link on how to take your photgraph and make your own coloring book page. You have to use photoshop or there is one more program. In case you missed it here it is. It has an embedded link for a tutorial. Craftzine.com blog : HOW TO - Make Your Own Coloring Pages from Photos (http://blog.craftzine.com/archive/2007/07/how_to_make_your_own_coloring.html)
