There are people who make a living as clowns. Ronald Mc Donald included!

Clowning can definitely be a vocation!
I am almost 40 years old and have wanted to be a clown my entire life. I never had the courage to step out there until now, but it's something that I have always been drawn to. Now, I'm taking steps to become a clown full-time. I feel it's the calling of my life. I can't wait to get going!

Hi this is Furry Foot in England
Clowning is a part of who you are if you are truely a clown so I guess that in that sence it is vocational
I have been a semi profesional clown for 27yrs now and although I do have another job, clowning is really what I do, as I work with children with mental health dificulties durring the week only putting on my clown at weekends,
I use all of my clown skills in that job as well, engaging them, putting them at ease, making it easy for them to relate to me.
Check out clowns international its the oldest clowning organisation in the world, Im sure there will be lots of others that will give you there opinion
