You went to this one last year, right? Could you summarize the experience, who taught, what kinds of classes and shows and all went on at it, please? One of my friends out on the East Coast was thinking about attending this camp, but the Mooseburger site itself has left her wanting for more information as to what exactly is offerred at it. Thanks!

I would say I got more out of Mooseburger than all the conventions put together
Trisha teaches a class for beginners called clowning 101 and also teaches classes on character ,comedy and make up
Chris Allison and his wife teach improve juggling and a whole lot more (Chris was boss clown for ringling) just what you learn from them is worth going for
Joe Barney is hard to decribe except that he is a class of his own
Unless you experience it for your self it is hard to tell about there is so much going on
There classes for all levels of clown and at the end you use what you learned for the show

I concur, Sue!

I would love to go to these things. At this point, It's just to cost prohibitive at this point. I also keep saying I'm going to take the kids to the Circus Museum in Baraboo, WI or the Circus Hall of Fame in Peru, IN. But Money keeps getting diverted to other things.... like bills.

Scruffy, I'm glad you mentioned Peru. The week after Moosecamp, call it July 16-23 is Circus week in Peru, IN. If you can make it to Peru at any time you have got to try and make it so that you can see the kids circus. The clowns are not so hot, at least they were not two years ago, but then they are not the stars of the show. These kids are fantastic. We are talking 4, 5,6 foot unicycles in a set routine, and they are under the age of 18. Even after the fun and excitement of Moosecamp I am really looking forward to going again. Last year the circus was during the same week as Camp.
