I ripped my last suit and I am looking for a semstris (spelling) to make me another one. I would like it to be a fabric with bubbles on it and lots of pockets and baggy pants with suspenders. I also would like a hat. If anyone has any patterns or anything relating to this, please pm me here or email me at jdarden@glade.net. I can also give you my number if need be.
thanx bubbles the clown

Welcome to you, bubbly Bubbles!!!
I would check locally to see if you have a good seamstress in the area. That was what we did when Sassy (AKA Mrs. Scruffy) needed hers done.
One thing I would suggest is LOTS of pockets. You can never have too many. Also, try to draw out what you want, It will help to to work out the final design.
Welcome to our little corner of the World wide web. Please stop by for chat. We start on Thurs. at Nine PM.

costume by Betty are good, although I made my own, Pricilla Mooseburger makes wonderful one from pictures, but can be exensive. if your female check raggedy ann or square dancing patterns,
I get all my make up from www.bubbasikes.com fast, reliable service and he'll help you anyway he can. Bubba does make over in workshops, I've had him critic [sp] my make up, he's great.
One thing that makes a good clown costume is the pattern for mens pajamas
Just make them with extra pockets

I plan on making it a bit like my old suit. I want to have the pants big and baggy with lots of pockets and a couple pockets the look like pockets but arent. I had lots of problems with the last suit top being to long. the length of the arms got in my way. I want a totaly new top. maybe a vest type top.not sure though. If anyone has any ideas on the top, please reply. might juts go with a simple shirt top with a vest or something. Im in texas so its gonna be hot this summer.
Someone who can do quality sewing is invaluable to the entertaining clown. I have recently just found someone who is able to make very unique and clowny looking things for an economical cost to me. I found this through one of my contacts in the clown alley.
If you do not have an alley or a group of friends that you share similar interests with, Scruffys idea of finding a local seamstress is a great one.
