This is not a full clown costume event, however....

Yours truly is one of the team captains at a local bowling event to support Big Brothers and Sisters of North Texas.

I'm one of the team captains, the team duly named " Bad Boys with Balloons" since its all guys.

Its on Saturday March 11th, and I will be sporting a skillfully made balloon hat with event t shirt and possibly other portions of my outfit, and hope to convince my other players to do the same.

Here's the latest news about the upcoming event...

Whether its from hypnosis or just an example of good fun, I have convinced my players to wear balloon hats!! I tappears we will also have team shirts. The name of the group is " Bad Boys with Balloons " and one of the players suggested getting some local tees in red with black lettering, saying " PRISON INMATE ###### " I even have a "ball and chain " balloon design I'm thinking of using unless it interferes with the bowl walk...

I can't wait, should be good media coverage too, local TV affiliate is one of the sponsors, and a restaurant I I'm planning on talking to....

Woohoo!

I have round balloons I'm using for the ball and chain, just decorate a six pack for my team too so they can pretend to bowl.....

Also another idea I had. I made the base hat yesterday, a four sided crown with 2 loops that hook together to supporet each other. (I'm really trying to get the picture thing working, as I need to get these pic up for you guys to see, maybe some time next week)

Anyways, whenever someone makes a strike, they get an additional balloon added to their "helmet". The team is supposed to be really good, so they walk out of there with 30 balloons on their head!!

you could also make the bowling pins out of balloons

I had someone forward me a copy of the Boys in all their splendor, and I should be able to post it tonight for everyone's viewing pleasure (fingers crossed)
