:clowncar:Juggling is a great skill to learn. As clowns we are expeted to be funny. I want to know what other clowns are doing to make their juggling funny or do you just play it straight. Let me know what it is that you do and why.

I like to do walk around with juggling. When I hear someone say, "Look he's juggling." I always call back, "Where? I like to watch people juggle..." Then I look behind me and try to find out who it was...

I am getting better at my transition between juggling three balls and two balls. I ask kids how many balls I am juggling and when they say, "three" I switch to juggling two balls in one hand. Some will then shout, "two" or I will ask if they were sure I am juggling three.

I also have a set of eight balls (they are really black stress balls with the number 8 like in billiards) and I tell people I can juggle eight balls.

:star: Ok so if you have a crowd of kids and you are juggling, you can say "Hey, do you want to see me take this one step further?" and they'll most likely yell YEAH! so you literally take one step towards them while you juggle. It's a little lame but it works and you usually get a laugh.

I play pickup and drop constantly when doing walkaround/strolling entertainment. Just drop a club (or ball) and a kid runs to pick it up. You graciously receive it, thanking her, and immediately allow another to fall. You can keep this up (with a little patter and variation) and incite hysterical laughter for ever. Add a little variety to the bit and make it unique, then you've got something.

I made up a juggling skit...being I cant juggle. I used it a couple times and it got a pretty good reaction...I use the scarves and am introduced as being a great juggler..and I tell them how proud of myself I am for being so good at it..so good I can even do it blindfolded. So after practicing without the blindfold I then put it on and continue to juggle and kinda shuffle all over like I am catching them and Smaxy tells them to say she is doing real good when I ask "how I am doing"...while he shakes his head to motion them to tell me that I am doing good..after a about a minute I no longer have the scarves and I say ok thats enough I am getting tired or Smaxy tells me thats enough and when I take the blindfold off every one gives me a hand and I tell them I am not only a good juggler but a magician too because he has them take the scarves when I drop them and I look around and don't see them. I say thanks and make things up about how good I am and stuff and then they all show the scarves and I act upset and run off cuz im really not magic at all.
