I have made 5 bass balloons so far. They are so cool!!.. VERY HARD for me to turn the balloon back after turning it inside out and putting the "attachement" on.. but wow.. how cool!. Sonshine had a request at the restaurant for a guitar from a 10 yr old boy.. while making the first balloon.. grandma adds... he has a brain tumor... and is going through chemo.. so SOnshine looked at him.. said.. this is only a temporary one... I will make you a bass balloon and deliver it to you. So dad gave her the address and Cathy delivered it to their house during the day a few days later. They were so surprised. Two weeks later... same restaurant... 28 people come to have dinner... to celebrate the end of chemo.. *S* Yep his ENTIRE family. Sonshine didnt know it was them.. walked back and said.. who is the guest of honor..as soon as she heard his name.. She asked how the bass lessons were going... Grandma looks and said 'YOU REMEMBER him?" *Like I would forget a kid like him*

I thought both of those were pretty interesting...thanks for the post...

Balloon magic magazine had an issue a few years ago with a few simpler instruments...but I've only tried one...a one balloon banjo...I think I'm gonna try to pull that issue out and see if I can make the guitar to actually make different sounds...

I think I saw someone use a similar technique (in the balloon bass) to make a caterpillar...do you experience a great deal of popping when reinserting the small bubble over and over again...?

How is your collection of Balloon Magic V? Do you have any duplicates? I have a few doubles along with a few holes in my collection. I'll post my extras if anyone wants to trade.
