I really like making the weave! For some reason I am better at this than anything else... I just need to work on my speed now - It took me about 45 minutes to make this weave vase with 4 two-balloon roses.

This was my first attempt at a swan - I also made a second one with my business card inside it. My snail is behind the swan.

Baloon rabbit... (oh excuse the dust! I didn't realize the top of my desk was so bad! LOL

OH -and THIS I am REALLY excited about! My sis-in-law uses this exact tote for all her supplies (face paints, balloons, other misc tools needed when clowning...) Well, I found the same one yesterday and I just finished decorating it! I had a ton of fun being crafty - not something I have spent a lot of time doing in the past, but I have always enjoyed doing it! This is the FRONT of my clown tote...

And this is the back of the tote...

Let me know what you think - and PLEASE send me your suggestions and tips... Having only been doing this stuff for the past 3 weeks or so, I could sure use all the pointers I can get!

Flutterby, that is a terrific job on the Tak weave. I also like the flowers! Where did you learn that?

Scruffy, the weave I learned on the Clowning at Sea Cruise - Jim "Jimbo" Hunsinger was the insutrctor... He just taught us the basic weave.

I also learned several types of flowers - so I sort of used different twists from each flower I learned to adapt a rose of my own - although I am sure someone out there already makes a rose just like the ones I made!

I just adapted what I learned on the cruise and some pictures and things I have read since the cruise to make the roses in the vase...

Thanks very much for the compliments!

LOVE the tote!! Where did you find it? Does it have lots of pockets?? I'm actually thinking of either a tote or apron of some sort for my first "from scratch" project on my new used sewing machine. I need something for my balloons. Right now they are in plastic baggies labeled w/ sharpies (Otherwise I can't tell the black from the blue from the purple and sometimes the green!!) and all in a plastic grocery bag. UGH... not cool.

Great job. The tote is adorable and so clever. I'm really jealous with your balloons, although I did learn some yesterday that I can now do.

Your website is really cute too. I can't believe how advanced you are for someone so new to clowning. This is definitely your forté, Miss Flutterby. WAY TO GO!!

Way to go Flutterby,

You are doing great keep it up. Did you get to the clown alley meeting last night, we got stuck in with the weather, don't like to drive in freezing rain.
