Intestines/Balloons/fake
I don't know how on topic this is for this particular section, I am hoping enough to be accepted, anyway:
I have a bit of an adult balloon clown skit where I (as a zombie clown) attempt to make balloon animals out of ‘intestines’ obviously not real intestines… anyway, I wanted advice on what you experienced clowns would use to get this ‘intestine effect’? are there balloons out there that could pull this off, or would I have to use some other sort of material?
This concept is something I have been wanting to bring to life as it were for many years now, only existing in drawings I had done of my dead clown girl Spewella the clown.
I tend to like swaying more towards adult comedy, my zombie clown is just one of many, and obviously not something I would do for the kiddies!
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thank you!

Actually, Lumpy, I think intestine balloons might be kind of funny for a "big kids" Halloween party. Let me know if you learn how to pull it off.

Not knowing exactly what intestines look like, there are cream colored balloons, different shades of pink balloons or you could make fabric sleeves for the balloons that might work but it might makethe actually twisting difficult.

It might just be easier to use real intestines. That just a suggestion, though.

Good idea Chappy but I heard they just don't inflate evenly these days.

I just don't think most people would have the guts to try it.

Maybe if you inflate a pinkish balloon, make several twists in it, and then untwist, you might get the desired effect. Also bend it?

I do some twisting at a local college for the dentistry and nursing departments and have used clear balloons with red food coloring on the inside - the air pushes the food color around whilse inflating and gives somewhat of a spatter and/or smear effect (randomly obviously). It may be sufficient for your needs.
Clear/Crystal balloons have a horrible texture (imo - and if the colors were avaliable elsewhere I'd not use them myself. Make sure you "burp" the balloons well as to keep the food color spatter inside the balloon and not on your audience by way of popping)
