Fast, Easy and Attractive...
Not me, the balloons:
Do yourself a favor and take five minutes to learn this very basic technique: Elmo Puppet, for personal use only
I have been twisting for less than a year and recently did my first big, scary, mob-scene type event. I made LOTS of these and they were popular with kids, teenagers and grown-ups too! I call them Stick Monsters. They were definitely the most requested... well, okay, after "swords" They are really easy and fun to modify. You can use scraps to add tongues, antannae, noses, "hair"...

Cool, Cricket. It's so cool that I might use it for one of my "Balloons of the Week." I think I'm four weeks behind, so I need some fast & easy ones!

They are great and so quick and if you curl the stick part round and twist it at the back it becomes an elmo/kermit etc bracelet

Hey Pickles!
You can do four variations and voila, you're caught up!

Hey Wally!
If you click the link it will take you to the directions... which are way easier to understand than anything I could come up with! But, if that doesn't work for you let me know.

This past weekend I did a free deal for some good friends that are Missionaries and were doing a fund-raiser/information party--I did a ton of these for the kids. (There were only about 10 kids there so each kid ended up with about 2,000 balloons each!) They are quick and easy to knock out. (The balloons, not the kids...) I did a few monkeys--my most complex single-balloon design--but all the kids were more impressed with these "Stick Monsters."
The only problem I had was trying to get the 5" rounds evenly divided for the eyes. I accidentally bought "Pearl White", (they are kind of like the neons--they have a pearly look to them and they are semi transparent) instead of regular white so that may have something to do with it. Bad thing is I bought 2 bags of them so I will be using them for quite some time...
Thanks for the great, easy design!
