Clown Ministry has great free skits for almost anything! I've found several there for our clowns to work on.

You are quite welcome! I'm glad I could actually be of help to someone and contribute something new. I stumbled across it a while back searching for some new stuff for our ministry. They've got some great skits! Hope you find something that will work!

Many tricks and bits can be adapted for Easter. What are some of the things you do now?

Clown-Ministry was actually the first clown site I ever looked into with more than a glance...I've done the silent anti-abortion skit with the balloons from their website for some time now; also the clown version of The Christmas Visitor there.
As always... Depending on the forum, I have a few Easter based magic tricks.
Robe escapes can be used to show how death couldn't hold christ.
Ticket to Heaven paper tears...
Cut & Restore - death & ressurection
Professor's Nightmare with the right patter...
Devil's handcuffs - same concept as rope escapes
Not so much magic, but Easter themed - Professor Wonder has some a balloon design for Christ on the Cross that can be worked into story-telling or as a visual for magic or basic ballooning...
will add more later as I recall them....

Easter idea
This is what I am doing on this Sunday for the Children for Easter.
I have a large plastic egg @6" Inside the egg I have
1. a black rock - represents our sins
2. white felt heart - represents God's love
3. piece of wood - to remind of that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.
4. red rose bud - Stands for new life that Jesus gives us when we believe and trust in him.
Take each item out and show the children - you are left with an empty egg - Just like the empty tomb.
I have an egg made up for each of the children to take home and share the story of Easter with friends and family.
This in part came from a book and cassette (The Empty Egg created by Stephen Elkins) I ran across recently that I had from when my kids were little.
Hope this give you an idea.

I didn't realize the request for an Easter Idea was from 2006. But hope this will help someone out or give an idea.

Maybelle,
The 2006 date is the date they joined Clown Forum not the date of the request, I made the same mistake awhile back.

Grandmother's Necklace is a good rope escape that can be used to show how Christ died for our sins and now our sins no longer hold us. You can do it by tying up a kid or by tying scarves onto the ropes.
